This is beautiful. An ode to love and friendship. I’m not sure if we ever really get good at grief but as someone who has experienced a lot of loss in my life, I get that it part of it. It’s a sign that you’ve lived a meaningful life, you’ve loved well, and with that will inevitably come loss, as we are all impermanent. I can say that I have learned to be there when someone is grieving or dying. It’s a beautiful thing. You do love well, and it appears you do grief as well as anyone. Sending you love, sending you healing, and know that you and Jon make the world a better place for so many.
